I am extraordinarily sure
this lull is not exactly peace...
but more an instinctive attempt to arrest
all unnecessary movement and noise...
a pause of intense listening
and certain expectation...
a moment of breathless anticipation

So, Amy, are you saying you're taking a sabbatical or is this all you have to say for today? Just checking. You know how some of us get when we don't get your blog on a regular basis. As long as we know you're coming back we can manage.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's just the thing to do ... to drop back and punt and wait to hear from God rather than to just ramble within ourself. There's a verse in the bible that talks about idle chatter. "And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak." Matthew 12:36 NLT.
